Holiday dog boarding in the Tri-Cities
Short answer: emBARK offers overnight boarding in Port Moody for small and medium dogs who already attend our daycare, from $58 + GST to $68 + GST a night. Holiday dates fill early, so call 604-492-4993 or email hello@embarkdaycare.ca as soon as your travel dates are set.
How boarding works at emBARK
We only board dogs who come to daycare with us. Your dog already knows the space, our staff and many of the other dogs, and we already know their routine, so the first night away is far less stressful than a kennel full of strangers.
Boarding is subject to staff availability. Your dog stays either at our facility or in the home of one of our staff members; we’ll confirm which when you book.

A $20 + GST weekend surcharge applies to stays that include a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night, and pick-up after 10 am on your pick-up day is $20 + GST. As an example, a 7-night stay is 7 nights at $63 + GST each, so $441 + GST, plus the weekend surcharge.

What to pack
- Food, ideally portioned into meals
- Medication with written instructions
- A familiar blanket or toy
- Up-to-date vaccinations on file: DHLPP, Bordetella (at least 7 days before) and Rabies
