Our facility
Designed for small and medium dogs
- Thoughtfully designed to cater exclusively to small and medium breeds, generally 35 lb and under.
- Fully supervised by experienced pack leaders certified in Dog First Aid.
- Cleaned and sanitized every day with dog-safe products.
- Steps from Moody Centre station, on the Millennium Line SkyTrain and the West Coast Express. Free parking for drop-off and pick-up.
- Open Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Enrichment for dogs
Room to be a dog
The key to a happy, healthy dog is regular enrichment and the chance to act on natural instincts: playing, chasing, sniffing, chewing and scavenging. Dogs who get that are physically, emotionally and mentally satisfied. Dogs who don't tend to find their own entertainment, which usually means unwanted behaviour.
At emBARK we run enrichment puzzles and games through the day to keep every dog engaged.
A day at emBARK
How a day runs
Opening time
We open early every weekday morning to greet old friends and meet new ones. A friendly staff member welcomes each dog into daycare.
Play time
It's group workout time, with ball games and upbeat music to burn off energy. Staff watch every play group closely to keep all dogs safe.
Lunch time
We cater to every dog's needs, including medication and dietary requirements. Each dog eats the food you provide in a private area, without interruptions.
Nap and potty time
Comfy dog beds and private space for pups who need a nap after a hard morning. Every dog is taken to our fenced outdoor area on a routine, so house-trained dogs keep their good habits.
Home time
Pick-ups begin. Some dogs get anxious watching friends leave, so dogs being picked up are moved out of the play area quickly to keep the group calm.
Cleaning time
Once the last guest has gone home, staff clean and sanitize the whole space with dog-safe products, ready for the next day.
